    • Balance in pirouettes and piques
  • Traveling techniques like waltzes
  • Connecting steps like tombe pas de bourrée

Ballet Floor Barre

This technique in ballet training uses basic ballet barre training from standing at a ballet barre to the floor. Floor barre exercises are designed to increase flexibility, coordination, strength, and control. For the dancer, these exercises can improve the turnout of the hips and overall body alignment. Dancers can also rehabilitate injuries while maintaining technique. This is an excellent place to begin training for the novice wanting to gain knowledge in beginning ballet while incorporating technique.
